Fund Changes in 2025

Due to the continued high demand on our fund we have made a number of changes that will take effect in 2025.

Small Award Fund

• We will move to four closing dates in 2025.
  • Application deadline:  28^th February 2025.  Outcomes advised April/May.
  • Application deadline: 16th May 2025.   Outcomes advised June/July.
  • Application deadline: 15^th August 2025.   Outcomes advised September/October.
  • Application deadline: 31^st October 2025.   Outcomes advised November/December.

• Applications must meet one or more of the qualifying criteria of animal welfare, culture, health, recreational facilities and sport. Further information and FAQs are published on our website.
• We have increased our annual budget  for 2025.
• Applications will be considered from registered Scottish charities, constituted groups and community interest companies with an annual income of up to £150,000.
• The maximum award continues to be £25,000.
• Awards are for one year only.

2025 Discretionary Fund

• This fund is not open to applications.
• The fund is to support registered Scottish charities only.
• The fund is to support charities that have previously received funding from us or charities that we have asked to speak to us about their funding requirements.
• The fund will be used to support charities that meet one of our qualifying criteria.
• We will consider awards in excess of £25,000.
• We will consider multiyear funding.
