The team run weekly training sessions, community leagues and specialised programmes for individuals with additional support needs, including autism-friendly football, para-football and frame football for children.
The Trust was delighted to fund the continuation and development of the Frame Football Programme for children who use walking frames or face mobility challenges.
The team at The Joga Foundation is passionate about creating inclusive opportunities for children with additional support needs. Through our work we can see firsthand the benefit to families and young people across our community. Having the opportunity to participate gives our young people improved mobility and co-ordination, increased confidence, peer interaction, teamwork and importantly fun.
Receiving financial support from The Weir Charitable Trust has given everyone at The Joga Foundation a boost and is ensuring we have the funds to continue to deliver inclusive opportunities for children and young people. The photos speak for themselves!
