The Trust made an award to cover the costs of the running of one of the three caravans where 20 families (55 adults and 31 children) enjoyed a holiday where they could relax both mentally and physically.

The Holiday Project is a registered Scottish charity providing low cost respite holidays to disadvantaged people in East Ayrshire at their caravans based in Saltcoats.
Funding from The Weir Charitable Trust to cover annual running costs of one caravan ensured the team at The Holiday Project could offer a large number of families the opportunity to improve their overall health and well-being, have a real holiday and create happy, positive and long lasting memories.
