Established in 1977 Cowdenbeath Martial Arts Centre provide fitness, karate and self defense training from age 4 upwards.
Receiving the award to purchase essential protective and personal training aids benefitted around 40 club members, but we were also able to introduce hundred of primary school students to free karate lessons. We organised 3 grassroots tournaments and used the new equipment. This meant that no students were excluded due to financial circumstances
