Balls and Boots is a registered charitable organisation operating in Scotland. Recognising that many families do not have the means to provide footballs, footwear or clothing for their kids to take part in games or have access to any form of skills coaching, the charity was set up in 2020 with the aim of using football to help children living in poverty to get involved with football.
We believe all children should have the opportunity to take part in the greatest game on the planet and experience the joy of being on a football pitch with their friends, old and new - and experience the thrill of kicking a ball. Now, more than ever, sporting activity can play a vital role in helping maintain mental, as well as physical health and wellbeing.
The fantastic support from The Weir Charitable Trust has allowed the charity to reach many more children throughout Scotland. It has given us stability in staffing and supply and storage of items to be distributed. So many families are in need therefore it is vital that we do all we can to aid them in allowing their children to be involved in sport .Having a supporter like the Trust is so important to what we do and we really cannot thank them enough !!
