We may be able to help if you meet all of the following criteria:
- You are a charity or not for profit community group
- You are based and operate in Scotland, providing services to improve the quality of life for the people of Scotland
- Your application meets one of the five Qualifying Categories – Sport, Health, Culture, Animal Welfare, or Recreational Facilities
- You are seeking funding of less than £25,000
If not, it will be rejected without further consideration.
Meeting the criteria does not guarantee funding as awards are made at the Trustees’ discretion and their final decision. All information is held and stored in line with the requirements of the Data Protection Act.
Please note: the Trust will not fund individuals, governing bodies or commercial ventures, including business start-ups, nor will it fund requests for sponsorship.
It is a requirement of accepting a grant that recipients provide a brief report, within an agreed timeframe, that shows the monies have been spent on the purpose set out in the application form.
Applications meeting our qualifying criteria that are unsuccessful can re-apply by the following deadline date.
Please read what each Qualifying Category (under What we Fund) is as this will also help you complete the Application Form fully. Do not leave blanks as this will slow down the process of considering your application.
Please note: The application form has an option to save and continue to allow you to return if need to gather further information for your application.
