I have had an email offering me money from the Weirs/The Trust but I haven’t applied for any money.

This is a scam. Neither the Weirs nor the Trust makes unsolicited offers of money. Do not respond to any request for financial or personal details from the scammers.

I have left a message on the Weirs’ Facebook page explaining why I need money from them but have heard nothing….

This is a scam site and has nothing to do with Mr and Mrs Weir, who have no presence on any social media sites. If you wish to apply to the Trust for money, follow the application process.

The answer is yes, this is a scam. The Trust has advised LinkedIn in an attempt to close this down.
