When can we apply for a grant?
Applications can be submitted at any time in the six month period to the closing date. The closing date for applications from Scottish-based community groups and small charities is twice a year – end of February and end of August. Awards will only be considered at those times.
However, try to avoid submitting your application at the last minute as that may not allow us enough time to gather any additional information we may require. If you submit your application early and your circumstances or requirements change, we are happy for you to amend it.
Grant decisions are made in April and October, with awards paid shortly thereafter. The Trust will not approve applications or pay awards at any other time although applications can be submitted at any time.
